Ofcom approval for wireless communications

RAD's wireless communication solution, the Airmux-200 has won Ofcom approval. RAD Data Communications will be exhibiting at 3GSM Hall 1 1D01. A replacement for the local loop, the Airmux-200 enables low-cost wireless connectivity without the need to pay for leased lines.

Using unlicensed radio space, it has no running costs so is ideal for businesses who face spiralling communication costs.

The Airmux-200 can be used in places where fixed communications equipment can get knocked out (eg between portacabins on construction sites) or where it can be hard to install fixed equipment such as in listed buildings.

The Airmux-200 is also ideal for remote areas where network coverage is limited.

Due to its easy installation the solution can be deployed as an emergency back-up in case of core communications failure.
