Welcome to Wireless Communications

Wireless networking to the fore in Munich

Digi International will be showcasing its range of embedded microprocessors, modules, wireless networking devices, and other connectivity solutions at Electronica 2006 in Munich. Digi, a Microsoft Gold Partner, will display products including the Digi ConnectCore Wi-9C, the industry's first embedded core module with fully integrated wired and wireless networking, in addition to the rest of Digi's range of device connectivity hardware. Powered by Digi's ARM9-based NS9360 processor, the ConnectCore Wi-9C is a complete and fully integrated main processing system with secure wired and wireless LAN capabilities.

It is precertified to eliminate costly certification delays during wireless product development.

Support for Linux and Windows CE is also available.

Built on leading 32bit NET+ARM technology, the Digi Connect and ConnectCore product families offer the industry's first wired and wireless interchangeable embedded modules and core modules with plug-and-play firmware and royalty-free development tools.

Custom software applications developed using the NET+Works development platform can fully migrate across all Digi Connect and ConnectCore products to a fully integrated NET+ARM system-on-chip solution.

Digi's NetSilicon NET+ARM processors are net-centric system-on-chip implementations of ARM's industry standard 32bit architecture.

They are fully supported by the royalty-free NET+Works suite of advanced networking development tools and software.
