The TinyOne Pro IP67 radio modem includes a 500mW radio module with advanced embedded firmware, metal casing and a quarter wave antenna. The TinyOne Pro IP67 radio modem is available in the licence free 868 and 915MHz ISM frequency bands. After introducing the TinyOne Pro OEM RF module earlier this year, One RF Technology now introduces the TinyOne Pro IP67 radio modem. The 500mW modem includes a powerful embedded firmware with multiple protocol modes such low power mode, and it supports mesh networking. With a reinforced hard metal casing, the modem is designed especially for tough environments. The 500mW modem is capable of transmitting data up to 4km with a -100dBm sensitivity. Together with the company's PowerOne IP67 radio modem, the TinyOne Pro IP67 is an ideal radio modem for outdoor applications such as irrigation, urban traffic control or urban display control. TinyOne Pro radio modem connects to a 6-40V power supply and it supports RS232, RS422 and RS485 serial interfaces. The small size of the modem,100 x 62 x 40mm without antenna or 180 x 62 x 40mm with antenna, ensures that the modem easily blends in into different environments. One of the advanced features of the TinyOne Pro IP67 radio modem is that it is fully configurable over the air (DOTA), allowing a convenient possibility to upgrade the communications protocol used. Compatible with the new TinyOne Plus module, the modem offers the customers a possibility to build backbone-type RF networks, eg for transmitting agricultural sensor data to a central database. The TinyOne Pro IP67 radio modem will be available for purchase in Q4 2006. All TinyOne Pro products are also available in 915MHz version for the US market in 2007. |
