RF module is optimised for power savingThe TinyOne Plus OEM RF module has 25mW output power and it will be available at 868 and 915MHz in Q4 2006.One RF Technology has added a new member to its successful TinyOne product family - TinyOne Plus. TinyOne Plus is based on the high performance TinyOne Pro OEM RF module, but it is optimised for low consumption. It supports the standard in-house firmware as well as the new advanced firmware with mesh functionality and other advanced protocol modes. The TinyOne Plus OEM RF module has 25mW output power and it will be available at 868 and 915MHz in Q4 2006. The TinyOne Plus OEM RF module shares the same features as its big brother TinyOne Pro, such as enhanced embedded firmware with new improved protocol modes such as 'low power mode' and mesh networking capability, which allow the TinyOne Plus to be easily integrated into various wireless data transmission systems. Unlike the 500mW TinyOne Pro, the Tiny One Plus has only 25mW output power, -110dBm at 9.6Kbit/s sensitivity and is optimised for low power consumption. The multichannel TinyOne Plus is fully compatible with the TinyOne Pro. It can be used together with TinyOne Pro to create backbone network solutions. Compared with the big brother TinyOne Pro that can transmit data up to 4000m, TinyOne Plus is lower cost radio solution for applications that require advanced networking modes for data radio transmission up to 1500m. An IP67 modem version of TinyOne Plus is under development. The TinyOne Plus radio modem is scheduled to be released in the beginning of 2007. |
